Supply of Non-EAPC Bikes

• Cyclescheme is dedicated to supporting commuting through the sale of EAPC-compliant bikes. We work solely with retailers who follow these standards and offer customers suitable advice and servicing. Any deviation from these standards breaches our Partner Agreement.

• Partners selling a high proportion of non EAPC Bikes have been identified and we are taking action to remove them from our retailer network.

• All e-bikes sold by our partners must meet the following standard for an Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle

✅must have pedals that propel the bike

✅have motor with max continuous rated power not exceeding 250 watts

✅cut off electric assistance at 15.5 mph

Retailers need to clearly identify bikes to customers that are non-compliant/road legal online and in-store.
